Most parents find it encouraging when celebrities give back to the community that involve positive influences on children. If you Google Sasha Grey (Most people reading this might already know who she is), most parents might find it quite disturbing. The ex-porn star made a stunning appearance as she read to students at a local LA county elementary school.

The 23-year old former mattress actress has been in cameo such as HBO’s “entourage and most recently Eminem’s “Space Bound ” music video. She made a guest appearance at a Compton’s  Emerson Elementary school as part of a Read Across America Day.

Parents have filed complaints to the Parents-Teacher association because of the former porn star reading to the children. Sasha Grey said in a statement to TMZ proud of her actions by reading to the kids.

“I believe education is a universal right. I committed to this program with the understanding that people would have their own opinions about what I have done, who I am and what I represent,” the statement said, according to TMZ.

“I am an actor. I am an artist. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a partner. I have a past that some people may not agree with, but it does not define who I am.”

Grey has not appeared in porn films in over two years. She has been a regular on “Entourage” and appeared in the 2009 film “The Girlfriend Experience.”
